MAY 17 - Hundreds of activities take place across our nation on EMS for Children's Day, and during the particular week. On EMS for Children's Day, communities and medical staff are encouraged to concentrate their EMS Week activities on boosting shared awareness about the necessity for specific emergency concern for children.
This unique day has arrived on May 17th this year, although the history for it must bring your interest out. The 'Federal EMSC Program' partners each year with the 'American College of Emergency Physicians' to honor Seven Days for the Emergency Medical Services (EMS). As part of the week, Emergency Medical Services for Children Day (also known as EMSC Day) is marked at 'Wednesday' of this week between May 19th and May 25th. Use #EMSForChildrenDay to post on social media.
National EMSC Day was founded by the federal EMSC Program and partners with the American Pediatrics Academy, American College of Emergency Physicians, and the Emergency Nurses Association to promote knowledge concerning the need for improved care for children in prehospital, and acute care settings.
